Our Mission

Our mission at Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFOF) is to provide compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention.

Family owned and operated it provides residential and commercial HVAC / Electrical repair, maintenance, and replacement. company, locally operating in the DFW Metroplex and the surrounding areas. Additionally it is a proud partner of The Texas Rangers. Its community efforts to first responders is awesome: it has sponsored Bad Enough to Wear Blue, partnered with DFW Scanner to donate HVAC systems to frist responders and military families in need, sponsored Summer bash 2023 and so much more.

LCPAAA is proud, once again, to have PRO TOW of Lewisville as our HOME RUN supporter for Battle of the Badges. Pro Tow has been in business for 30+ years and have supported Battle of the Badges for several years. Drivers in North Texas trusts them with both personal and commercial vehicles. They have 3 locations and open 24 hours.

They've donated $1,000 to Battle of the Badges and we are so grateful.

This is the coolest place EVER!! With over 66 thousand sq ft of pure adventure, there's something for everyone.  They donated 4 Black Diamond passes value $200 + for a raffle. You can zip line, rock climb, ice skate, laser tag, archery, bumper cars... you name it, they got it!  Fun for all ages.

We are so proud to have Rifle Gear join the Battle of the Badges family.  They donated $150 gift card  plus 10 Range Passes value $200 for a raffle. WOW!  They are a premier gun retailer and their new facility is on Hwy 121 in The Colony, TX. They have 28-lane shooting range and offer a host of new firearms training courses.

OMGosh!  Korner Café in Lewisville has always supported Lewisville Police & LCPAAA and continue to show their support throughout the year.  Battle of the Badges is no different.  They've donated $500  and we are forever grateful!  They have great food too!

Who doesn't like going to the movies?  We sure do and Moviehouse & Eatery Flower Mound features eight dine-in theaters, complete with plush recliners and a dedicated waitstaff. A full-service bar in the lobby gives everyone a place to gather before enjoying dinner and a show, and serves up nightcaps to end the evening. They are our recent supporter and donated a basket for 4 people with movie tickets, popcorn, Ices, candy and more, valued at $125.

Who loves home cooking without the work?  Mama's Daughters' Diner is the place to go! The owner, Laurie, continues to support LCPAAA and donated $250.  This family owned diner has been a staple in Lewisville for years and have always supported the Lewisville Police.

Ready to have some fun with our latest supporter?  PINSTACK is Plano’s premier venue for indoor family activities. From state-of-the-art bowling lanes to its unique LED Rock Climbing Wall, PINSTACK has indoor games for the whole family. The one-of-a-kind indoor family activity venue features a full-service restaurant offering a modern American menu, a full bar and a private dining area.  PINSTACK donated 1 hour of bowling/shoes for four valued at $78.  It's time to get in the action!

We welcome another repeat supporter for Battle of the Badges., April Roppolo.  Although growing up in the foster care system, April was determined to break the cycle and dedicated her life to public service. She retired after 30 years as a Dallas and Highland Village police officer. She made positive impacts in her community such as a SRO,  Marcus HS mentor, taught “DARE” (Drug Awareness Resistance Education) and an advocate for animal rescues, just to name a few.  Corporal April Roppolo received the first ever “Heroes of Denton County Lifetime Achievement Award” and has a room named after her at the Childrens Advocacy Center. WOW!  It’s doesn’t get any better than this!  Way to go April!
