 Committees
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Recruit potential members and contact former qualified members for the purpose of renewing their membership.
INFORMATION COMMITTEE
Creates and maintains the official web site of the Association.
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
Plans, organizes, and coordinates the social calendar for the organization. This committee also represents the LCPAAA at special events or in special circumstances with the organization or the police department (i.e. births, illnesses, deaths, etc.). This may include an alumni member, a police officer, or one of their dependents. This committee also welcomes new members into the Association.
PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PROJECTS COMMITTEE
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and represents the LCPAAA organization at promotions and yearly activities. These events may include solicitation of charitable donations as well as operational and charitable fundraising activities as authorized by the membership.
POLICE DEPARTMENT AWARENESS COMMITTEE
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and represents the LCPAAA organization within the police department. The primary focus of this committee is to increase awareness and familiarity between the LCPAAA members and the police department. A representative from this committee acts as the primary contact between the LCPAAA and the police department for the police department's programs. |
